The Prime Minister suggested that the two Parties promote sharing experiences in Party building, experience in leadership, and socio-economic development.

On July 22, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh received Mr. Chan Chun Sing - Deputy General Secretary of the People's Action Party (PAP), Minister of Public Service Coordination, Minister of National Defense of Singapore on the occasion of a working visit to Vietnam from July 20 to 22.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated the results of the talks between the two Parties as well as the delegation's exchanges with Vietnamese agencies; emphasizing that in the context of the world and regional situation with many rapid and complicated developments, the two countries need to strengthen political trust through regular exchanges of delegations and contacts at all levels, especially high-level leaders of the two Parties and two countries according to flexible mechanisms, urgently completing the Action Program for the 2025 - 2030 period, expanding cooperation in areas of strength and potential of both sides such as food security, renewable energy, carbon credit exchange, developing VSIP 2.0, developing logistics infrastructure, finance, banking, education and training, people-to-people exchanges, especially the younger generation...

Regarding Party channel cooperation, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh shared five lessons learned from the experience of the Communist Party of Vietnam in leading the cause of national construction and protection in recent times, which are: Persistently maintaining national independence and socialism, the revolutionary cause belongs to the people, by the people and for the people, combining national strength with the strength of the times, building the great national unity bloc, the correct leadership of the Party is the leading factor determining the victory of the Vietnamese revolution.

The Prime Minister suggested that the two Parties promote sharing experiences in Party building, experience in leadership, socio-economic development and discuss regional and international issues of mutual concern.

Deputy Secretary General Chan Chun Sing expressed his high agreement with the proposals of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, including the regular expansion of dialogues between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Singapore People's Action Party to share leadership experiences, assess emerging issues of mutual concern and discuss measures to overcome challenges; effectively implement economic and investment cooperation, especially in the fields of energy, finance, supply chain cooperation, and energy connectivity.

The Deputy Secretary General of the People's Action Party (PAP) suggested that the two sides maintain exchanges between the young generation, especially potential leaders of the two Parties and countries, to enhance connectivity, cohesion and mutual understanding, as well as expand cooperation in education and training through forms of student exchanges, training linkages and scholarship programs. Based on sharing a common stance on many regional and international issues, Singapore will continue to closely consult, coordinate positions and support Vietnam at regional and international multilateral forums, especially ASEAN, APEC, and the United Nations.
