In the immediate future, Quang Tri will focus resources on overcoming landslides and restoring housing for 12 households in Khe Sanh.
Regarding raw materials, the province will base on emergency conditions to buy and transport quickly; The Army will immediately send the Engineering force to work, ensuring strict compliance with regulations; by December 31 at the latest, it must be completed so that people can return to their safe places and restore production and business.
The province balances the local budget, if there is a lack of budget and mechanism, it should propose to the Central Government in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring feasibility and efficiency.

The Prime Minister stated that this delay is a weakness, the province must review and handle relevant collectives and individuals based on Party regulations and State laws, including Regulation 366 of the Politburo on reviewing and evaluating and classifying quality for collectives and individuals in the political system; reporting to competent authorities in a spirit of openness, seriousness and honesty.
The head of the Government requested the province to learn from experience in promptly grasping the situation; reporting accurately, fully, and promptly; responding flexibly and promptly.
The province must study long-term solutions such as finding drainage solutions for landslide areas; investing in upgrading, completing related works to prevent landslides and having regulations on construction in the area.
The Prime Minister emphasized that, drawing experience from handling and overcoming landslides in Khe Sanh, ministries, agencies, localities, cadres and civil servants in general, when handling any matter for the people, must put themselves in the position of the people, with emergency situations, related to people's lives, health, and life, must handle it immediately, avoiding serious illnesses and forms. Accordingly, it is necessary to handle work not only with responsibility but also with heart, affection "from heart to heart", national love, compatriotism, considering people's work as the work of one's own home.
In overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and stabilizing people's lives, it is necessary to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, in addition to state resources, social resources, resources of businesses and people must be mobilized.
