The Prime Minister requested to monitor and urge businesses to fully pay salaries and Tet bonuses to workers and laborers.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed Official Dispatch No. 13/CD-TTg on the implementation of the task of caring for and supporting people to celebrate the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year in 2026.

According to the telegram, ministries, agencies and localities proactively take care of the material and spiritual life of the people, ensuring "everyone, every family has Tet", "not leaving anyone behind".

Focus on reviewing and firmly grasping the living conditions of people and workers, especially policy beneficiaries and people in difficult circumstances, to pay special attention, care for, and promptly provide appropriate and effective support. Monitor and urge businesses to fully pay salaries and Tet bonuses to workers and laborers (CNLĐ).

Directing businesses, investors, and construction contractors of works and projects to have plans to support and care for the material and spiritual life fully and thoughtfully for workers staying to work at the construction site during the Lunar New Year, ensuring timeliness and practicality.

Organize a suitable Tet celebration for workers and laborers on the construction site, ensuring joy, health, warmth, safety and thrift, encouraging workers and laborers to work hard, accelerate progress and ensure the quality of projects.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade shall preside over and coordinate with agencies and localities to closely monitor the market situation, and effectively ensure the supply of essential goods to serve the consumption needs of people during Tet. Coordinate with businesses to strengthen the organization of discount and promotion programs.

Direct units to ensure the supply of gasoline, oil, and electricity for production, business and daily life of people, absolutely not to let shortages occur in any situation.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment shall preside over and coordinate with agencies and localities to strengthen plans to respond to environmental pollution and air pollution in urban areas and environmental incidents; organize the collection and treatment of domestic solid waste, and prevent the situation of waste congestion in urban areas, commercial areas, and residential areas.

The Ministry of Finance directs customs forces to closely coordinate with functional forces to strengthen inspection and control to prevent and combat smuggling, trade fraud, trading in counterfeit goods, poor quality goods, and goods of unknown origin.

Focus on inspecting and patrolling closely at key routes and areas, smuggled goods, counterfeit goods, and prohibited goods tend to increase during Tet.

Strengthen state management of tourism, regularly organize inspections and controls of the quality of tourism service business; strictly handle violations.

Direct and guide localities and tourism service business establishments to develop plans and proactively prepare necessary conditions to serve tourists during Tet; require public price listing, not to raise prices or pressure tourists; have plans to ensure security and order, fire and explosion prevention and safety, food safety and hygiene, and environmental sanitation.

The Ministry of Construction shall preside over and coordinate with agencies and localities to direct functional agencies to coordinate in organizing strict management of transport activities.

Arrange sufficient means to meet the travel needs of people, ensure traffic order and safety and prevent and control epidemics in transport activities; absolutely do not let passengers delay returning home for Tet due to lack of vehicles.
