On February 9, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh - Chairman of the Central Emulation and Commendation Council - chaired the launching ceremony of the emulation movement "Innovation and creativity, science and technology development, digital transformation, green transformation" and the emulation movement "Strongly develop private enterprises, improve the efficiency of state-owned enterprises".
The launching ceremony was held directly at the Government Headquarters, online with bridge points in 34 provinces and cities across the country.
Attending the launching ceremony were: Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Vice Chairman of the Central Emulation and Commendation Council Bui Thi Minh Hoai; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Vice President, First Vice Chairman of the Central Emulation and Commendation Council Vo Thi Anh Xuan; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, the Prime Minister affirmed that the fastest, shortest but most sustainable and effective path to "strategic autonomy" is through science, technology, innovation and digital transformation, green transformation associated with building an independent, self-reliant economy, deep, comprehensive, flexible, and effective international integration.
This is an objective requirement of the development process, an inevitable trend of the times, and a strategic choice of the country.
The Prime Minister believes that this is a "command" gunshot that awakens and ignites the spirit, a "drums of the festival" that echoes to encourage the desire to act; a "new vitality" that is strongly ignited right from the beginning of the new year.
Thereby, the resolution is not just lying on paper but urgently going quickly, directly, deeply, straight, and substantively into practice, transforming into specific results, creating new miracles of the nation where the people are the center, the subjects benefiting from the achievements of emulation movements.
The Prime Minister proposed that the emulation movement "Innovation and creativity, science and technology development, digital transformation, green transformation" focus on implementing 5 emulation focuses.
First, emulation to create breakthroughs in thinking, awareness and action: identifying science, technology, innovation, "green - digital" transformation as the key driving force of growth, as the foundation for improving productivity and competitiveness; as a tool to improve management efficiency, national autonomy capacity and ensure national defense and security;
Second, emulation to develop digital infrastructure, modern green infrastructure, synchronous, secure, safe, efficient, avoiding wastefulness;
Third, emulate innovation, strongly apply digital transformation and green transformation in all activities and international cooperation;
Fourth, emulation to develop the digital economy, digital society, digital government, digital government, digital citizens associated with the "Digital Literacy" movement and digital platforms with the "3 safety" goals: security, safety and people's safety;
Fifth, emulation in green transformation and climate change response in rapid and sustainable economic development.
Regarding the emulation movement "Strongly develop private enterprises, improve the efficiency of state-owned enterprises", in the spirit of "Businesses are the center - Infrastructure is the foundation - Institutions are the driving force", the Prime Minister proposed to focus on emulation to innovate thinking, awareness and action, from administrative management to creating development, serving people and businesses, modern governance and accompanying and supporting businesses.
Announcing the launch of 2 emulation movements, the Prime Minister emphasized the spirit of "Digitalization creates momentum - Greening spreads - Businesses break through - The country reaches far".
