Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc has just signed Official Dispatch No. 152/CD-TTg dated August 30, 2025 of the Prime Minister on urgently implementing the giving of gifts to the people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
The dispatch stated: Implementing the direction of the Politburo, on August 29, the Government issued Resolution No. 263/NQ-CP on giving gifts to the people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 and the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 1867/QD-TTg on targeted supplementation from the central budget to the local budget to give gifts to the people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
The Ministry of Finance has transferred funds to give gifts to localities. To promptly implement the giving of gifts to the people, the Prime Minister requested:
The Chairmen of the People's Committees of provinces and cities and requested the Secretaries of the Provincial and Municipal Party Committees to focus on leading, directing and immediately organizing the implementation of assigned tasks in Resolution No. 263/NQ-CP and Decision No. 1867/QD-TTg, closely coordinating with the Ministry of Public Security, relevant ministries and agencies to ensure the delivery of gifts to people on time as required, to the right subjects, safely, without missing and without overlap.
The Ministers: Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Finance, and Governors of the State Bank of Vietnam focus on directing relevant units to immediately implement the tasks assigned in Resolution No. 263/NQ-CP and Decision No. 1867/QD-TTg.
Proactively propagate, provide timely guidance and closely coordinate with localities to give gifts to people in accordance with the direction of the Government and the Prime Minister in the above documents.
Emphasizing that this is an important and urgent task, the Prime Minister requested ministries, agencies, localities and related units to uphold a sense of responsibility, focus highly on timely, safe and effective implementation, ensuring progress and requirements.
The Government Office monitors and urges according to assigned functions and tasks; reports to competent authorities on issues beyond their authority.
