On March 24, at the headquarters of the Ministry of National Defense, General Phan Van Giang received a high-ranking delegation of the Polish Ministry of National Defense led by Deputy Minister Pawel Bejda who are visiting and working in Vietnam.
At the meeting, General Phan Van Giang expressed his delight at the good traditional friendship between the two countries for 75 years, especially during the official visit to the Republic of Poland by Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh in January 2025, the leaders of the two countries agreed to upgrade bilateral relations to a strategic level. This is the basis for the two countries to continue developing cooperation in many fields, including defense cooperation.
At the meeting, Polish Deputy Minister of National Defense Pawel Bejda expressed his gratitude to General Phan Van Giang for taking the time to receive the delegation and conveyed the greetings of Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Wladyslawini Kosak- Kam Kam to General Phan Van Giang.

General Phan Van Giang highly appreciated the results of the talks between the Deputy Ministers of National Defense of Vietnam and Poland.
At the same time, he acknowledged the positive results of defense cooperation between the two countries in recent times on the basis of the memorandum of understanding on bilateral defense cooperation signed in 2010, notably in areas such as delegation exchanges, especially high-level delegations; training; United Nations peacekeeping; defense industry...
General Phan Van Giang affirmed that in the coming time, the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense will direct competent agencies to continue implementing the agreed contents to promote the defense cooperation between the two countries to be increasingly effective, practical, and in line with the overall relationship between the two countries.
Polish Deputy Minister of Defense Pawel Bejda expressed his confidence that with political determination, goodwill and efforts of both sides, Vietnam - Poland defense cooperation will have stronger developments in the coming time.
