In a solemn atmosphere, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nguyet - Vice Chairwoman of Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee - read the eulogy expressing boundless regret and deep gratitude to the martyrs who bravely fought and sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and noble international duties.
With the tradition and morality of "drinking water, remembering the source" of the Vietnamese nation, implementing the policy of the two Parties, two States, and the Government of Vietnam - Laos; from 1999 to present, with the assistance of the Party, State and people of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, the Special Working Committee and the Ha Tinh Provincial Martyrs' Remains Collection Team have searched, collected, and exhumed 835 sets of martyrs' remains. In the dry season of 2025-2026 alone, 9 sets of martyrs' remains have been collected.

On this occasion, on behalf of the leaders of Ha Tinh province, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nguyet - Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the 515th Provincial Steering Committee - expressed her deep gratitude to the Party, State and people of the Lao People's Democratic Republic; the Party Committee, Government and people of Vientiane Capital, Bolikhamxay province for coordinating in searching, exhuming, and organizing the repatriation of martyrs, volunteer soldiers and Vietnamese experts back home.
Vice Chairman of Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee also sent his thanks to Comrade Tran Cam Tu - Member of the Politburo, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat; comrades in the Central working delegation, delegation of the Military Region 4 Command who attended the memorial service and burial of the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who sacrificed in Laos and returned home.

After the memorial service, 9 sets of remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who sacrificed in Laos were buried by delegates, provincial leaders, and comrades at Nam Martyrs' Cemetery.
