On May 6, in Hanoi, Inspection and Supervision Delegation No. 12 of the Politburo led by Politburo Member, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu worked with the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Military Industry - Telecommunications Group (Viettel).
The working session was within the framework of the program to inspect and supervise the implementation of resolutions and directives of the Central Government.
Welcoming the Inspection Delegation was General Nguyen Trong Nghia, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission, Head of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.
According to the plan, the inspection and supervision delegation will inspect the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Viettel Group on the following contents:
Organization and operation of agencies and units after arranging and streamlining the apparatus; tasks and solutions to ensure the implementation of the target of average gross domestic product (GDP) growth in the period 2026-2030 from 10% or more according to the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress;
The leadership, direction, and organization of the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation, national digital transformation and related documents;
Leadership, direction, and implementation of Regulation No. 366-QD/TW, Guidance No. 43-HD/BTCTW and Conclusion No. 12-KL/TW on reviewing, evaluating, and ranking the quality of Party organizations and Party members.
Speaking in conclusion, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu acknowledged and praised the results Viettel Group has achieved in the past time, especially in implementing the Central Government's policies, arranging the organizational structure, maintaining stable and effective production and business activities; and emphasized a number of contents.
In which, regarding the implementation of the Party's strategic resolutions, especially Resolution No. 57, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu requested Viettel to continue to concretize more deeply into key programs and tasks with clear goals, specific roadmaps, associated with the responsibilities of each unit.
Focus on mastering strategic technologies, improving research and development capacity and commercializing products; promoting the transition from providing services to developing products and technology platforms. At the same time, promote linkages between research - production - market; improve investment efficiency for science and technology; gradually participate more deeply in the global value chain, contributing to building national technological autonomy capacity.
The Standing Committee of the Secretariat emphasized the importance of focusing on building a team of cadres and experts with high qualifications, especially in new technology and strategic technology fields. On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Group's Party Committee, Chairman cum General Director of the Group, Lieutenant General Tao Duc Thang received and thoroughly grasped the directing opinions of the Standing Committee of the Secretariat, and at the same time requested Party committees, Party organizations, agencies, and units throughout the Group to seriously implement the contents concluded at the working session, ensuring synchronization and effectiveness.
