On the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, on February 6, Politburo Member, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu and the Central Working Delegation visited and presented Tet gifts to a number of policy families, people with meritorious services, workers in difficult circumstances, poor households, and households in difficult circumstances in Lao Cai province.
At the Lao Cai Provincial Conference Center, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu; Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Ha Thi Nga; Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Lao Cai Provincial People's Council Trinh Viet Hung, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu presented Tet gifts to representatives of 250 families of people with meritorious services, policy beneficiaries, poor households, workers, and laborers in the wards: Yen Bai, Au Lau, Van Phu, Nam Cuong, Yen Binh, Viet Hong, Tran Yen and armed forces, leaders of Lao Cai Provincial General Hospital No. 1.

In the joyful and warm atmosphere of the days leading up to the Lunar New Year, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu sent to leaders, veteran officials, policy families, poor households, workers and all officials, soldiers, and people of Lao Cai province sincere greetings, wishes for good health and best wishes for the new year.

The Standing Secretary of the Secretariat emphasized that our Party and State always consistently have the view of taking the people as the root, considering caring for the material and spiritual life of the people as both a goal and a driving force for the cause of building, protecting and developing the country.
“All guidelines, policies, and policies aim to improve the quality of life and ensure social security for people. Taking care of Tet for policy families, the poor, workers, and people in difficult circumstances is always a policy that the Party and State pay attention to and implement throughout.
This is also a good cultural tradition, showing the spirit of mutual affection and love. Every Tet holiday and spring comes, activities to care for people's lives take place enthusiastically in all parts of the country, so that everyone and every household can celebrate Tet warmly, happily and happily," Mr. Tran Cam Tu shared.



In the coming time, the Standing Committee of the Secretariat requests the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee to focus on effectively implementing Directive No. 55 of the Secretariat of the Central Party Committee on organizing Binh Ngo Tet in 2026; pay special attention to caring for policy families, people with meritorious services, workers, poor people, and people in difficult circumstances not only during holidays and Tet but must be implemented regularly and continuously, ensuring that every household and every citizen fully enjoys the policies of the Party and the State.

On the same day, the Standing Committee of the Secretariat and the Central Working Delegation visited Vietnamese Heroic Mother Ha Thi Hao (94 years old), Thai ethnicity in Quy Mong commune; wounded soldier Vu Duc Chon's family (77 years old), Yen Bai ward and presented Tet gifts to officials, employees and children at the Social Work and Social Protection Center No. 1 of Lao Cai province.
