On November 19, Hoa Thinh Commune Police (Dak Lak Province) said that the Commune Police force had defied the floodwaters and quickly took a pregnant woman in the area to the health station for timely care and support.
Accordingly, at 11:00 a.m. on November 19, the authorities received an urgent call for help from the family of pregnant woman Trinh Thi Kim Lan (born in 2003, residing in My Phu village). Ms. Lan had signs of giving birth but could not move to the medical facility due to rising floodwaters, deep flooding and strong water currents.
Immediately after receiving the information, the Commune Police urgently dispatched 6 officers and soldiers to use specialized boats, carrying life jackets, rescue ropes and necessary equipment to rescue people.
Overcoming bad weather, continuous heavy rain and floodwaters, the commune police force quickly approached the isolated house and promptly supported, putting the Lan mother in a steamer.
On the way to overcoming the flood, the staff always closely monitor the health of the pregnant woman, reassure her and proactively handle any arising situations.
Thanks to the timely and dedicated rescue of the police force, the pregnant woman Lan was taken to the commune health station safely and received care from the medical staff.
