On March 25, the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee held a conference to implement the decisions of the Central Party Secretariat on personnel work and the retirement decision for comrades under the management of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.
At the conference, Comrade Ho Thanh Thuy - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee - announced the Decision of the Central Party Secretariat on personnel work.
Accordingly, the Central Party Secretariat unanimously approved Comrade Bui Tan Bay - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and Comrade To Viet Thu - Secretary of the Bac Lieu City Party Committee - to join the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term.
The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee also announced the Decision of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee on allowing 10 comrades to retire early according to Decree 178 and Decree 67 of the Government (phase 1), including comrades: Vuong Phuong Nam - Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Nguyen Van Khanh, Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor; Le Thanh Giang - former Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (DOLISA); Huynh Quoc Ca - former Director of the Department of Construction; Luu Van Liem - former Director of the Department of Science and Technology; Tran Thi Lan Phuong - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (VHTTDL); Luynh Tung - former Deputy Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment; Phuong Hien - former Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Thi Lan Phuong - former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Nguyen Doan - former Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee.
Speaking at the conference, the former Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee expressed his gratitude to the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee for creating conditions for working and completing tasks well during his working period; and promised to continue to pay attention and monitor to contribute to building an increasingly clean and strong Party Committee for Bac Lieu to develop further.
Speaking at the conference, comrade Lu Van Hung - Secretary of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee - congratulated the two comrades who had just been approved to join the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, and hoped that the two comrades would continue to strive together with the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee to unite and be determined to successfully complete the targets and tasks set by the 16th Provincial Party Committee Resolution.
Regarding the comrades who received the retirement decision, the Provincial Party Secretary said that during their working process, they have continuously strived to strive to fulfill their assigned tasks well. The Provincial Party Secretary acknowledged and commended the contributions of the comrades in the past time and hoped that they would continue to monitor and pay attention to giving comments to party organizations and authorities in building and developing their homeland in the coming time.
