Leaving the capital Havana, successfully concluding the state visit to the Republic of Cuba, my wife and I would like to send to the First Secretary, President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez and his wife, and through him, to the revolutionary leader, General Raul Castro Ruz and the leaders of the Party, State and people of Cuba, our sincere thanks for the deep friendship and the warm and thoughtful reception as "brothers of one family" that the Party, State and people of Cuba as well as you and your wife have given to me and my wife and the high-ranking delegation of the Party and State of Vietnam.

The beautiful and heroic brotherly country of Cuba, the warm and hospitable Cuban people have left close and extremely deep impressions on me, my wife and the comrades in the delegation.

My first visit to the Republic of Cuba in my new position is a continuation of the policy of the Party, State of Vietnam, generations of Vietnamese leaders, especially the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, to attach top importance to the Vietnam - Cuba relationship.

The high-ranking delegation of the Party and State of Vietnam and I are extremely pleased with the profound and substantive results of the visit, especially the content of the exchange between me and you and at the talks between the two high-ranking delegations of the two Parties and two States, as well as the meetings between me and the revolutionary leader, General Raul Castro and comrades President of the National Assembly of the People's Power Esteban Lazo Hernandez and Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz.

The friendly meeting with representatives of Cuban friends, people and the young generations of the two countries once again demonstrated the noble revolutionary ideals, understanding and sharing between the people of the two countries, cultivating deep affection through more than 64 years of ups and downs of history.

I firmly believe that the high consensus and agreement between the Vietnamese and Cuban leaders during the visit will contribute decisively to strengthening political trust, strategic coordination, promoting and improving the effectiveness of comprehensive cooperation in all pillars and important areas of cooperation between the two countries, affirming the high determination of the leaders of the two Parties and States to work together, cooperate and develop together, bringing the traditional solidarity, special friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two sides to a new stage, developing substantially and sustainably, for the benefit of the people of the two countries, for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.

Wishing the First Secretary and President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez and his wife, the Cuban revolutionary leader, General Raul Castro Ruz, and the leaders of the Cuban Party and State good health, happiness, and continued important successes.
