Continuing his working trip to Quang Tri province, on October 16, General Secretary and President To Lam visited cadres, soldiers and people of Con Co island district (Quang Tri).
On October 16, General Secretary and President To Lam and the Central working delegation visited, worked with and presented gifts to encourage the Party Committee, government, people and armed forces of Con Co island district, Quang Tri province, according to VNA.
The delegation included Politburo members: General Phan Van Giang, Minister of National Defense; Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security. Also joining the delegation was Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Central Office Nguyen Duy Ngoc.
General Secretary and President To Lam and the delegation offered incense at Uncle Ho's Memorial House, visited and surveyed the lives of people on the island; worked, presented gifts, and encouraged the Party Committee, government, and armed forces of Con Co island district.

This afternoon (October 13), General Secretary and President To Lam met with a delegation of outstanding businessmen from VCCI and the Vietnam Association of Private Enterprises.
On the morning of October 6, General Secretary and President To Lam and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation laid flowers at the Ho Chi Minh Monument in Montreuil, France.
The Standing Committee of the Petition and Supervision Committee recommended that the National Assembly Standing Committee propose that the Government strengthen the management and control of gold prices and foreign exchange rates.
The Prime Minister decided to appoint 3 deputy ministers and 1 secretary of the Central Youth Union to concurrently hold the position of member of the Board of Directors of the Bank for Social Policies.
