Continuing his working trip to Quang Tri province, on October 16, General Secretary and President To Lam visited cadres, soldiers and people of Con Co island district (Quang Tri).
On October 16, General Secretary and President To Lam and the Central working delegation visited, worked with and presented gifts to encourage the Party Committee, government, people and armed forces of Con Co island district, Quang Tri province, according to VNA.
The delegation included Politburo members: General Phan Van Giang, Minister of National Defense; Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security. Also joining the delegation was Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Central Office Nguyen Duy Ngoc.
General Secretary and President To Lam and the delegation offered incense at Uncle Ho's Memorial House, visited and surveyed the lives of people on the island; worked, presented gifts, and encouraged the Party Committee, government, and armed forces of Con Co island district.
