This afternoon (8.), in Hanoi, General Secretary To Lam - Head of the Central Steering Committee for institutional and legal improvement (Steering Committee) - chaired a thematic meeting of the Steering Committee.
The meeting was attended by Politburo members: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh - Deputy Head of the Steering Committee; National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man - Deputy Head of the Steering Committee. Also attending were Politburo members, Secretariat members, Central Party Committee members who are members of the Steering Committee; leaders of a number of central ministries, departments and branches.
Speaking at the opening of the meeting, General Secretary To Lam stated that the meeting aimed to review and comment on a number of important contents to continue implementing Resolution 66-NQ/TW of the Politburo.
The content of this meeting is all major issues, many difficult issues, in-depth professional fields, with urgent contents that need to be resolved immediately, and strategic contents that need to be discussed and carefully considered.
General Secretary To Lam suggested that members of the Steering Committee and delegates attending the meeting promote a sense of responsibility, focus their intelligence to contribute opinions on the contents of the meeting with a breakthrough mindset of daring to think, daring to do, daring to decide, sticking to reality, and at the same time, starting from the interests of the country, all for the sustainable development of the nation and people, for the benefit of the people.
