On the afternoon of August 1, in Hanoi, the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs jointly organized a meeting to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security Force (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnamese Foreign Affairs Sector (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025).
General Secretary To Lam, Secretary of the Central Military Commission attended and spoke at the meeting.
Attending the meeting were comrades: Nong Duc Manh - former Politburo member, former General Secretary, former Secretary of the Central Military Commission; Luong Cuong - Politburo member, President; Pham Minh Chinh - Politburo member, Prime Minister; Tran Thanh Man - Politburo member, National Assembly Chairman; Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, former Politburo member, former National Assembly Chairman.

The leaders of the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that, in response to the increasingly high requirements and tasks of the revolution, thoroughly grasping the direction of the General Secretary, promoting the tradition of great national unity, based on the deep awareness of the guiding viewpoint of "strengthening national defense and security and promoting foreign affairs and international integration is important and regular", in the coming time, the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will continue to coordinate and cooperate closely with each other and with departments, ministries, branches and localities, determined to perform well the task of strategic consultation with the Party and State on national defense, security and foreign affairs; closely and effectively combining economic development, culture, society, foreign affairs with national defense, security and national defense, national security and social security and national interests; ensuring the highest national security and national interests, national security and national development, and the most stable and stable environment.

General Secretary To Lam emphasized that although the functions, tasks and scale of the organization of forces are different and characteristic of each force, the People's Army, People's Public Security and the Vietnamese diplomacy are steadfast in their goals and ideals of national independence associated with socialism, being the core force in protecting and building the peace of the Fatherland, fighting with the entire people to liberate the nation, unify the country, firmly protect the Fatherland, protect the Party, State, people and socialist regime, ensure national security, strengthen foreign affairs, cooperation, international integration, enhance Vietnam's position and international prestige.
The General Secretary shared that President Ho Chi Minh's time taught: Our people have two forces. One is the Army, to fight foreign invaders, to protect the Fatherland, to maintain peace. Another force is the Police, to fight against domestic enemy and saboteurs. Therefore, the Police and the Army must unite closely with each other and help each other. Uncle Ho also taught: used to say: used to be the quintessence, diplomacy was the voice. The notes are loud, the notes are loud.
The General Secretary noted that in the coming years, peace, cooperation and development will still be a major trend, but there will also be many new difficulties and challenges. The program was co-organized by the Central Military Commission (Ministry of National Defense), the Central Public Security Party Committee (Ministry of Public Security), and the Foreign Affairs Party Committee.
The art program with many elaborate performances, theme throughout arouses patriotism, praises the glorious Party, great Uncle Ho; the tradition of the Vietnam People's Army, the Vietnam People's Public Security and the Vietnamese diplomatic sector.
In the quiet space, rich in emotions of art, the program was opened with the opening part from the work "Khu Khai Quoc", which are the allegoric melodies, exuding the love and pride of the concert performed by artists and soldiers of the Vietnam People's Armed Forces.

The musicians and artists of the Military University of Culture and Arts, the People's Police Music and Dance Theater; the Army Music and Dance Theater, the Military Region 1 Artists' Group, the Military Region 2 Artists' Group, the Air Defense - Air Force Artists' Group, the Border Guard Artists' Group and famous artists of Vietnam performed.
