According to the News Agency on the evening of August 3, General Secretary To Lam has issued instructions related to the direction of focusing on overcoming the consequences of floods, flash floods, and landslides in Dien Bien, Son La, and Nghe An provinces.

Accordingly, General Secretary To Lam requested:

First, local Party committees and authorities at all levels must ensure that those who have lost their homes have a place to live, ensure that people are not left hungry or cold, and ensure a basic life.

Second, focus on building houses for those who have lost their homes. At the same time, local Party committees and authorities continue to speed up the progress of building temporary and dilapidated houses for people, prioritizing border areas and communes.

Third, armed forces, the army, police and the government, businesses, and philanthropists focus on supporting people to return to temporary housing to ensure their lives.

The damaged school is trying to build a place to study in time for the opening day, with equipment to ensure the opening ceremony.

Regarding the direction of flood response, on August 3, the Government organized 2 working groups.
