On March 2, 2026, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, General Secretary To Lam worked with the Central Internal Affairs Commission and a number of relevant agencies to listen to and give opinions on the Project "Summary of 20 years of implementing Resolution No. 3 of the 10th Central Committee on strengthening the Party's leadership in the work of preventing and combating corruption and wastefulness; submitting to the Central Executive Committee for consideration and promulgation of a Resolution on preventing and combating corruption, wastefulness, and negativity (PCTNLPTC) in the new period".
Concluding the working session, General Secretary To Lam acknowledged, praised, and highly appreciated the Central Internal Affairs Commission for its efforts, urgency, and close coordination with relevant agencies to study and develop the Project in a meticulous, serious, and methodical manner, with many new contents, viewpoints and solutions that are breakthrough, comprehensive, closely following reality, meeting the requirements and tasks of PCTNLPTC work in the new period.
General Secretary To Lam requested the Central Internal Affairs Commission to continue to study and fully absorb the opinions at the meeting, urgently complete the Project, ensure the highest quality to submit to the Politburo and the Central Executive Committee for consideration and decision according to regulations.
The General Secretary emphasized that PCTNLPTC is a particularly important, regular, and long-term task of building and rectifying the Party and the political system.
Resolutely and persistently fighting to prevent and repeal TNLPTC is the consistent and consistent policy and direction of our Party and State.
The issuance of the Resolution on strengthening the Party's leadership over PCTNLPTC work in the new period right at the 2nd Plenum of the 14th Central Committee, affirming the Party's special attention, is the Party's "Declaration" on continuing to resolutely and persistently promote the fight against "internal invaders" in the coming period with new thinking and ways of doing things.
Both resolutely and persistently fighting against PCTNLPTC; handling strictly, humanely, persuasively, without forbidden zones, without exceptions; controlling key, important, and new areas that potentially pose a high risk of TNLPTC occurring; and accompanying the task of socio-economic development, serving the goal of continuous double-digit economic growth in the coming years; creating a transparent environment, ensuring a safe legal corridor for people and businesses to feel secure in investing, producing, and doing business, for officials and party members to boldly innovate, be creative, dare to think, dare to do for the common good; ensuring that the interests of the State are harmonized with the legitimate and lawful interests of businesses and people, focusing on removing difficulties and obstacles to unlock resources for development; contributing to building culture in the Party and the political system as well as perfecting Vietnamese culture in the new era.
