On the Vietnamese side, there were: Vietnamese Ambassador to the United Kingdom of Great broth and Northern Ireland Do Minh Hung and his wife; officers and staff of the Vietnamese Embassy to the United Kingdom of Great broth and Northern Ireland.

The official visit of General Secretary To Lam and his wife and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation this time took place on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam - United Kingdom - Northern Ireland Strategic Partnership (2010-2025), an important milestone for the two countries to look back on the past cooperation journey, evaluate outstanding achievements, and at the same time set out new vision and development orientation for bilateral relations in the coming period.
General Secretary To Lam's visit is expected to create new breakthroughs in cooperation between the two countries, especially in areas with potential and strengths complementing each other, thereby contributing to the effective implementation of the Politburo's pillar resolutions on science - technology development and innovation, promoting extensive and comprehensive international integration, perfecting institutions, developing the private economic sector, promoting education - training, care and improving people's health, ensuring national energy security, in line with Vietnam's vision of sustainable development and long-term strategy, towards a new, dynamic and creative era of development.
