General Secretary To Lam suggested many important issues for the leaders of Ca Mau province to focus on leading and directing the implementation of key tasks in the coming time; in which, it is necessary to review the targets and tasks of this term to have specific solutions, remove bottlenecks and bottlenecks, strive to complete the highest level of targets and tasks of the Resolution of the 16th Provincial Party Congress, especially targets that are forecast to not be achieved or difficult to achieve.

At the meeting, Secretary of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Tien Hai pointed out that the province's major bottlenecks are infrastructure development and human resources, which have affected the province's development.
Investment in infrastructure development of the province is very difficult and slow, while local budget revenue is extremely difficult. Despite great efforts, Ca Mau province's budget revenue is only half of the total expenditure, the rest must be compensated by the Central Government.
Regarding human resource development, the province is very interested in implementing training and development programs and projects, but with the province's difficult conditions, it is difficult to attract highly qualified human resources.
Representatives of the Central Ministries and branches discussed and clarified a number of issues related to the proposals and recommendations of Ca Mau province on the prevention and control of riverbank and coastal erosion; infrastructure construction, especially related to the construction of Ca Mau Airport, Hon Khoai seaport; upgrading and expanding National Highway 1, Ca Mau - Nam Can section and Ho Chi Minh Road, Nam Can - Dat Mui section.
