On the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and preparing to welcome the traditional Tet of the nation, on the morning of February 10 (ie, December 23 of the year At Ty), General Secretary To Lam returned to offer incense and visit the Nguyen Van Cu General Secretary Memorial Area in Phu Khe ward, Bac Ninh province.
Also offering incense and visiting the Memorial Area were Politburo members: General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security; Le Minh Tri, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission; Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, along with members of the Party Central Committee, leaders of central committees, ministries, branches, and Military Region I.

Here, General Secretary To Lam and delegates respectfully offered flowers and incense to commemorate General Secretary Nguyen Van Cu - the steadfast leader and outstanding theorist of the Vietnamese revolution.
General Secretary Nguyen Van Cu (born in 1912) in Phu Khe village, Nghia Lap canton, Dong Ngan district, Tu Son prefecture, now Phu Khe ward, Bac Ninh province.
Born and raised in a homeland rich in cultural and revolutionary traditions, General Secretary Nguyen Van Cu was early enlightened and actively participated in the workers, students, and intellectuals movement, and was admitted to the Indochinese Communist Party in 1929 when he was only 17 years old; in March 1938, he became General Secretary of the Party when he was not yet 26 years old.

General Secretary Nguyen Van Cu dedicated his whole life to fighting and sacrificing for the revolutionary cause of the Party, for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the People. General Secretary Nguyen Van Cu will forever be the pride of our Party, nation and homeland of Bac Ninh.
Immediately after the incense offering ceremony, General Secretary To Lam and the delegation of the Central Government and Bac Ninh province visited the original Memorial House, the Document and Artifact Display Area, and the Memorial House - the place associated with the childhood years of General Secretary Nguyen Van Cu.

In the warm atmosphere of the days leading up to Tet, General Secretary To Lam cordially inquired and talked with the people of Phu Khe ward and leaders of Bac Ninh province.
Praising the socio-economic development achievements of the locality, General Secretary To Lam wished the Party Committee, government and people of Phu Khe ward in particular, and Bac Ninh province in general, to continue to promote the revolutionary and civilized homeland tradition; unite and be creative to build an increasingly rich and civilized homeland.
On this occasion, Bac Ninh province presented General Secretary To Lam with a picture of traditional craft village products.
