The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Dinh Ward and the People's Committee of Ba Dinh Ward (Hanoi City) have just coordinated to organize a Conference to collect opinions and confidences from voters at their place of residence for candidates for the 16th National Assembly, term 2026-2031.
The comrades introduced for candidacy include: General Secretary To Lam; Politburo members: Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man; Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu; Standing Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Do Van Chien; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Committee Le Minh Hung; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Le Minh Tri and Comrade Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Presidential Office Le Khanh Hai.
Attending the conference were Comrade Pham Gia Tuc, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Party Central Committee Office; members of the Party Central Committee, leaders of central departments, branches, mass organizations, leaders of Hanoi city and a large number of voters of Residential Group No. 6, Ba Dinh ward.
At the conference, voters listened to introductions to the standards of candidates for the 16th National Assembly and a summary of the biographies of 7 candidates, currently residing in Ba Dinh ward, including: General Secretary To Lam; National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man; Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu; Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Do Van Chien; Head of the Central Organization Committee Le Minh Hung; Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee Le Minh Tri; Chairman of the Presidential Office Le Khanh Hai.
Based on the study of dossiers and the working process of each candidate, voters' opinions unanimously assessed that all 7 comrades fully met the standards and conditions for running for National Assembly deputies of the 16th term, worthy of being typical deputies in terms of political qualities, ethics, capacity and prestige.
The comrades have been and are taking on many important responsibilities of the Party and State, completing well the assigned tasks in key leadership positions of the Central Government.
Voters noted that at their place of residence, the comrades always maintained close contact with the people, regularly paid attention to and closely followed residential areas; seriously fulfilled the responsibilities of party members and civic obligations; actively propagated and mobilized people to comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws; contributing to consolidating the great national unity bloc. At the conference, 100% of voters attending voted, expressing absolute confidence in the 7 candidates.
Voters also expressed their belief in the Party's leadership, led by General Secretary To Lam, believing that the strategic decisions planned at the 14th Party Congress will open a new era of development, bringing the country into a period of prosperous and strong development.
With careful and close preparation in personnel work of agencies and units and the trust of voters at the workplace and residence, voters of Residential Group No. 6, Ba Dinh ward believe that the election of National Assembly deputies of the XVI term taking place on March 15 will elect a sufficient number of truly typical deputies in terms of qualities, intelligence, bravery, and responsibility; contributing to building the National Assembly as the highest representative body of the people, the highest state power body, effectively implementing the central role in building and perfecting the development institution, promptly institutionalizing the Party's policies, ensuring unity between the Party's will and the people's hearts in the new era of national development.
