Strengthen information, propaganda, and mobilization work; promptly provide information about routes and traffic conditions so that traffic participants can proactively choose routes and ensure safety when moving.
Regarding recommendations for people, Major General Nguyen Quoc Toan emphasized that the key to ensuring security and order, traffic safety is still the awareness of traffic participants, thereby forming a traffic culture for the safety of themselves and the community.
Accordingly, people need to strictly comply with the provisions of law when participating in traffic. During Tet, there are often many spring activities, however, absolutely do not participate in traffic when drinking alcohol; strictly comply with regulations on speed, signs, and traffic police orders - these are core issues.
People proactively check vehicle safety before participating in traffic, especially when traveling on long and long roads during Tet holidays.
People regularly monitor and update information related to traffic to proactively choose suitable routes and channels, avoid congestion points; comply with the guidance and command of functional forces to ensure safety and compliance with speed regulations.
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Public Security especially noted the responsibility of car companies and drivers, especially long-distance drivers, in strictly complying with traffic safety regulations when transporting passengers.
At the same time, it is recommended that when people participate in traffic, if signs of traffic safety violations are detected, they should promptly report to the police force through many channels, including the VNeID application and the VNeTraffic application deployed by the Traffic Police force.
Timely reflection will help functional forces quickly remind, handle, and prevent unsafe risks. People choose reputable car companies and drivers when traveling long distances to ensure safety.
