This is an important working session to complete the draft Report on the assessment of 5 years of implementing the 10-year socio-economic development strategy 2021-2030, directions and tasks for 5-year socio-economic development 2026-2030, before submitting to the 11th Central Conference.

In the documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress, the Political Report is the central report, the Socio-Economic Report is the thematic report. The Socio-Economic Report needs to be consistent with the major ideas and viewpoints in the Political Report but concretize the contents of the Socio-Economy.

In the past time, the Socio-Economic Subcommittee has spent time and effort completing the steps of drafting the Socio-Economic Report and submitting to all levels for comments with many adjusted, updated and supplemented contents.

The draft Socio-Economic Report was commented on by the 10th Central Conference (September 2024).

Recently, General Secretary To Lam chaired many working sessions with Subcommittees and Standing Committees of Subcommittees (meeting with the Standing Committee of Subcommittees on February 27, meeting with the Standing Committee of the Socio-Economic Subcommittee on March 6, meeting of the Document Subcommittee on March 15).

Immediately after the working sessions with the General Secretary, the Standing Committee of the Socio-Economic Subcommittee met (March 11) and the Socio-Economic Subcommittee met for the fourth session (March 13.3) to fully absorb the orientations and instructions of the General Secretary to supplement and complete the report, while continuing to review and promote the implementation of related work in the coming time.
