On the morning of December 15, General Secretary To Lam and National Assembly delegates of Hanoi's No. 1 election unit met with voters in the wards of Dong Da, Kim Lien, Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam, Lang, O Cho Dua, Ba Dinh, Ngoc Ha, Giang Vo, Hai Ba Trung, Vinh Tuy, Bach Mai.
Also attending the conference were Politburo member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc; Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Vu Dai Thang.
At the conference, National Assembly deputies will announce the results of the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly and listen to voters' opinions and recommendations.
After 40 consecutive working days (December 20 - 11.12), urgently, seriously, with a spirit of science, innovation, and high responsibility, the 10th Session was a great success, completing all the contents and programs set out.
The National Assembly has reviewed and approved 51 laws and 8 legal resolutions; conducted a summary of the work of the 2021-2026 term of agencies in the state apparatus; reviewed and decided on personnel work under its authority; supervised the thematic "implementation of policies and laws on environmental protection since the Law on Environmental Protection 2020 took effect".
The National Assembly also discussed and contributed opinions on the draft Document submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party; reviewed and decided on issues of socio-economics, state budget, investment policies for national target programs, important national projects, and adjustment of national master plans.
The National Assembly also reviewed reports on judicial work, corruption prevention, crime prevention and control and law violations, results of monitoring the settlement of voters' petitions, receiving citizens, handling petitions, letters and handling complaints and denunciations of citizens, and a number of other important contents.
Appreciating the results of the 10th Session - a historic session, voters welcomed the serious and responsible working spirit of the National Assembly throughout the past 40 days.
The National Assembly has completed a huge amount of work, passing 51 laws and many important resolutions, promptly meeting practical requirements while creating a legal framework for the new period.
Voters also highly appreciated the National Assembly's issuance of a Resolution regulating a number of mechanisms and policies to remove difficulties and obstacles in organizing the implementation of the Land Law; amending the Laws on education; approving the Resolutions approving the investment policy of the National Target Program for modernization, improving the quality of education and training for the period 2026-2035, the investment policy of the National Target Program on health care, population and development for the period 2026-2035.
According to voters, these are extremely breakthrough decisions, accurately reflecting the thoughts and aspirations of voters, meeting the development requirements of the country in the new period.
