On June 3, in Can Tho, Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong - Permanent Deputy Head of the Prime Minister's Working Group - worked with leaders of 4 provinces and cities: Tien Giang, Ca Mau, Soc Trang and Can Tho on the situation of handling complaints and denunciations that have been prolonged and exceeded the level.

The working session aims to implement the Conclusion of General Secretary To Lam at the working session with the Government Inspectorate on March 17, 2025 on resolving 226 cases of prolonged complaints and denunciations that have exceeded the level to the Central level.
Implementing the Conclusion of General Secretary To Lam, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 44, the Government Inspectorate issued Plan No. 96 on final settlement of cases of prolonged and prolonged complaints and denunciations that exceeded the Central level. The Prime Minister has established working groups to work directly with localities to resolve long-term and beyond-level complaints.
Accordingly, in Tien Giang province, there was 1 case urged by the Prime Minister's Working Group to be inspected and reviewed for settlement; 3 cases were inspected and reviewed by the Government Inspectorate's Working Group. In addition, there was 1 case in the province that was inspected and reviewed according to Plan 363/KH-TTCP dated March 20, 2019 of the Government Inspectorate.
In Ca Mau, the Provincial Party Committee has established a group of reviews and resolved 3 complicated complaints and denunciations according to the plan of the Government Inspector General by the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee as the deputy and 11 members. All 3 cases have been coordinated by all levels and sectors with the authorities and unions to participate in resolving and clarifying the content of complaints and requirements of the people.
In Soc Trang province, there were 4 cases of prolonged and unofficial complaints and denunciations. Soc Trang province established a Working Group to inspect and review complaints, recommendations and reflections of households related to wind power projects in Vinh Chau town.
In Can Tho City, there were 2 long-term complaints, exceeding the central level related to Co Do Farm and Song Hau Farm.
Speaking at the meeting, Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong said that 226 cases of complaints and denunciations were beyond the level and prolonged, mainly related to the land sector.

The Government Inspector General stated that the settlement of these cases is to ensure social stability and protect the legitimate rights and interests of the people. At the same time, strictly handle acts of intentional delay and taking advantage of complaints that cause disorder.
Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong emphasized that localities must focus on resolving cases of prolonged, crowded, and over-the-top complaints and denunciations.
Therefore, during the settlement process, it is necessary to clearly identify the origin of the land and the land use process, clearly classify which is the recommendation, complaint or denunciation to have a basis for legal settlement, reasonable understanding...
In addition, during the inspection process, if violations by organizations and individuals in State land management are detected, they must be strictly handled, including those who have retired or transferred jobs, to ensure deterrence and warning against other incidents and individuals.
According to Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong, these cases must be resolved before June 30, 2025.
In addition, review other cases at risk of becoming hot spots, in order to maintain political stability in the area, contributing to the arrangement of the apparatus and merging and consolidating administrative units at the commune and provincial levels, ending district-level activities.
