This is one of the activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21,25 - June 21, 2025).
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong - Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, emphasized: 2025 is a year with many important political events of the country, in which, the 100th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day is a major milestone for journalists and revolutionary press workers in the country.
The exhibition is held at 4 central locations of Ho Chi Minh City including: Dong Khoi Street (in front of the headquarters of the Department of Culture - Sports of Ho Chi Minh City), the area opposite Chi Lang Park, the area in front of the Ho Chi Minh City Theater and Lam Son Park.
With 100 typical images, the exhibition recreates the glorious historical journey of Vietnamese revolutionary press from the early days to the present.
The exhibition content revolves around the main topics: President Ho Chi Minh - the person who laid the foundation for the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press; the development process of the Revolutionary Press; the role and maturity of Ho Chi Minh City's press since the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day; the contribution of the press in the work of protecting national security, maintaining social order and accompanying movements for the community.
In addition, the exhibition also has outstanding photo topics such as: "Ho Chi Minh City Press - 50 years of accompanying the city in building and developing", "Proud of 100 years of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press", "Ho Chi Minh City Press Award - Honoring good values".

According to Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, the team of journalists in Ho Chi Minh City always shows a high sense of responsibility, love for the profession and constantly strive to be creative. Journalism works are increasingly of good quality, closely following the breath of life, being trendy, contributing to orienting public opinion and serving the increasingly high demand for information of the public.
This is clearly demonstrated through the Ho Chi Minh City Press Awards, where many excellent press works are honored, demonstrating the professionalism and close attachment of the press to the development of the city.
The exhibition will last until June 25, an opportunity for the public, especially young people, to better understand the role of revolutionary journalism in the flow of national history, while inspiring today's and future generations to continue good values, contributing to building a professional, humane and modern journalism.
