The visitation ceremony for former President Tran Duc Luong began from 7:00 a.m. on May 24 to 7:00 a.m. on May 25, at Thong Nhat Hall (Ben Nghe Ward, District 1).
The delegations visited in order: Former delegations of Party, State leaders, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; delegations of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City; leaders of Ho Chi Minh City at different times.
Then there are delegations from central agencies, Military Region 7, Ho Chi Minh City Armed Forces; delegations from all classes of people (soldiers, intellectuals, religions, veterans, workers, farmers, women, overseas Vietnamese); delegations of outstanding youth, teenagers, and children.
Next are delegations representing central agencies located in Ho Chi Minh City, provinces and cities; diplomatic agencies, departments, unions, districts.
The public can visit from 12:00 on May 24.
The memorial service for former President Tran Duc Luong took place at 7:00 a.m. on May 25.
The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee also announced the hanging of the national flag according to the flag-raising ceremony and stopped organizing public entertainment activities during the two National Day (May 24 and 25.
Ho Chi Minh City also established the Organizing Committee for the Visitation and Rehearsal Ceremony of Former President Tran Duc Luong in Ho Chi Minh City, headed by Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc.
