On February 26th, at Voting Area No. 2 (headquarters of Fisheries Resources Surveillance Team No. 2, Phuoc Thang ward) - one of the 4 early election locations in Ho Chi Minh City - a ceremony was held to send off the working delegation on a ship to carry out the task of early elections at sea.
Previously, this area organized early voting for the election of National Assembly Deputies of the 16th term, People's Council Deputies at all levels, term 2026-2031, with the participation of 178 voters voting on the shore. These are voters belonging to the forces of Coast Guard Region 3 Command; Fisheries Surveillance Flotilla No. 2 and Standing Militia Flotilla (under Ho Chi Minh City Command) expected to depart for duty before March 15.
Immediately after the end of the onshore voting, at Voting Area No. 2, a send-off ceremony was also held for the working delegation accompanying ship KN-260 to go on an early election mission at sea. Ship KN-260 will approach on-duty ships, conduct early elections at sea for voters in forces performing tasks in areas bordering Vietnam with Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Cambodia.
In addition, Polling Station No. 3 also organized early voting for the election of National Assembly Deputies of the 16th term, People's Council Deputies at all levels, term 2026-2031, with the participation of more than 100 voters voting on the shore. At the same time, a ceremony was held to send off the working delegation following the Truong Sa 04 and Truong Sa 21 ships to go on early election duties at sea, serving more than 400 voters working at DK1 rigs and on-duty ships with Vietnamese fishermen exploiting seafood at sea.
The assignment of working groups on ships to perform early election tasks at sea has contributed to ensuring the rights and obligations of cadres and soldiers on duty; fishermen who are fishing at sea; so that cadres, soldiers, and people who are working far from the shore at the forefront of waves and winds can still participate in the great festival of the whole people in accordance with the law, safely, strictly, and in principle.
