On the afternoon of July 25, the Central working delegation led by Mr. Lai Xuan Mon - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission - visited and presented gifts to policy families in Hoa An commune (Cao Bang) on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1945 - July 27, 2025).
The delegation presented 20 1,000-liter water tanks, 5 water purifiers to schools, 50 gifts to policy families and poor households.
At the same time, authorized the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to donate 30 water tanks to Truong Ha and Tong Cont communes with a total value of 350 million VND.
At the program, leaders of Hoa An commune reported on the organization and operation of local governments after the merger. The locality currently has 20,344 people, the poverty rate is still 1.59%. The activities of the commune are getting into order and are ready for the first Commune Party Congress (term 2025-2030) in early August.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Lai Xuan Mon called for promoting revolutionary traditions, paying more attention to meritorious people, sustainable poverty reduction and building a streamlined and efficient government apparatus.
