On February 6, the leader of the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee confirmed that there has been a project to reorganize specialized agencies under the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee.
According to the project, 16 specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee will be reorganized into 11 agencies according to the Central's direction.
In which, the following units will be merged: Department of Finance and the Department of Planning and Investment; Department of Transport and the Department of Construction; Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, and at the same time receive the current poverty reduction task assigned to the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs; Department of Science and Technology and the Department of Information and Communications; Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs.
Establish the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions on the basis of the Ethnic Minorities Committee receiving additional functions, tasks, and organization of the state management apparatus on religion from the Department of Home Affairs...
Also according to the project, 7 specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee will be reorganized in the form of adjusting the functions and tasks of the Department of Education and Training; Department of Health; Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; transferring some functions and tasks of some specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee to the Provincial Police for management...
Mr. Ha Sy Dong - Acting Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee said that during the project development process, the Provincial People's Committee based on the orientations and suggestions on the arrangement of specialized agencies under the provincial and district People's Committees. Next, the Department of Home Affairs has been assigned to synthesize, develop and collect opinions from specialized agencies. The plan to organize specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee has also been approved by the Provincial Party Executive Committee.
