On July 11, 2025, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, after reviewing the proposal of the Central Inspection Committee on disciplining violating Party members, the Politburo and the Secretariat found that:
Mr. Vo Chi Cong - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Can Tho City Party Committee, during his tenure as member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee, violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks; violated regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example, causing serious consequences, bad public opinion, and reducing the prestige of the Party organization and the agency or work unit.
Individuals: Nguyen Bat Hoc - former member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hung Yen Province; Le Ngoc Soi - former member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Hung Yen Province have degraded in political ideology, ethics, and lifestyle; violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks, in preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity; violated regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example, causing very serious consequences, public outrage, and greatly affecting the reputation of the Party organization and the agency or work unit.
Based on the content, nature, extent, consequences, and causes of the violation; according to the Party's regulations on disciplining violating Party members, the Politburo decided to take disciplinary action against Mr. Vo Chi Cong; The Secretariat decided to take disciplinary action to expel individuals: Nguyen Bat Hoai and Le Ngoc Soi from the Party.
Propose that competent authorities promptly enforce administrative discipline in line with party discipline.
