Lieutenant General Pham Tuan experiences high-tech warfare

Within the framework of the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024, at the booth of Viettel Military Industry - Telecommunications Group, Lieutenant General, Hero of the People's Armed Forces Pham Tuan had the opportunity to experience high-tech combat with many "Made in Vietnam" electronic weapons.

Lieutenant General Pham Tuan expressed his impression of the scale and diversity of products displayed at this exhibition, as the number of international defense enterprises participating doubled compared to the exhibition held in 2022.

Of which, host country Vietnam brought 69 types of weapons and equipment produced by 77 domestic defense units.

Lieutenant General Pham Tuan said: “What we witnessed today at the exhibition, I think this is just the beginning. Our defense industry is gradually modernizing. The Party and State, with a strategic vision to promote the development of the defense industry, requiring self-reliance in defense technology, are very interested and focus on investment."

According to Lieutenant General Pham Tuan, the contribution of many domestic defense units with 69 types of weapons and equipment, in which the Military Industry - Telecommunications Group (Viettel) displayed many high-tech products and equipment such as UAVs, electronic suppression radars or equipment for soldiers with 4.0 technology such as helmets equipped with multi-channel night vision goggles, thermal imaging scopes.

These are good signs for Vietnam's defense industry and Viettel as it has mastered many modern technologies, creating many weapons for the army, contributing to strengthening and firmly protecting the Fatherland.
