Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh emphasized that the Free Trade Zone is also an initiative of Da Nang City. When the Free Trade Zone is successful, it will create connections and benefits for the economy not only for Da Nang after the merger but also for the Vietnamese economy.
In addition to the establishment of the Free Trade Zone, the Politburo, Government, and National Assembly also allow Da Nang to implement many new economic initiatives such as the Financial Center, deep-water port, light river, downtown, etc. All of these projects will make Da Nang develop more strongly in the coming time.
"I think the future of Da Nang is very open, it will be the locomotive of the regional economy and the national economy. In particular, after the merger with Quang Nam, Da Nang's economic scale is more open, with great room and potential, connecting with heritage and deep-water ports, creating great potential for the Free Trade Zone" - Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh said.
According to Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh, the orientation of the first commercial zone in Da Nang is smart, green, and digital economy.
