The National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on the draft revised Land Law

At the 4th Session, the National Assembly Standing Committee will consider and give opinions on the draft Criminal Procedure Code (amended); the draft Land Law (amended).

On July 7, the National Assembly Office said that, according to the plan, the 4th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee will take place in 6 days: phase 1 is 1.5 days (July 8 and morning of July 9, 2026); phase 2 is 4.5 days (from July 14-17, 2026 and morning of July 28, 2026, reserve for the afternoon of July 28, 2026).

Politburo Member, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man delivered the opening speech and together with the Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly took turns managing the content of the Session.

At this Session, the National Assembly Standing Committee will consider and give opinions on: the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Architecture Law; the draft Oil and Gas Law (amended); the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on specific mechanisms and policies to handle violations of laws related to the state economy, private economy and the application of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation; the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam, the Law on Anti-Money Laundering and the Law on Credit Institutions.

The National Assembly Standing Committee also gave opinions on: the draft Law on Dissemination and Education of Laws (amended); the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on State Compensation Liability; the draft Law on Grassroots Mediation (amended); the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Publishing Law; the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Vietnamese Workers going to work abroad under contracts; the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Customs Law.

Along with that, the National Assembly Standing Committee will consider and give opinions on: the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of 4 laws (including: Law on Technology Transfer, Law on Telecommunications, Law on Electronic Transactions, Law on Radio Frequencies); the draft Law on Posts (amended); the draft Law on Prevention and Combat of Mass Destructive Weapons; the draft Law on Property Auctions (amended); the draft Law on Merging the State Budget Law and the Law on Public Investment; the draft Penal Code (amended); the draft Criminal Procedure Code (amended); the draft Land Law (amended).

Regarding supervision work, the National Assembly Standing Committee will consider the report on people's aspirations of the National Assembly in June 2026; give opinions on the draft Plan and Outline of supervision "The implementation of policies and laws on social insurance in the period 2021-2026.

Regarding decisions on important issues, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on the investment policy of the Ring Road 5 - Hanoi Capital Region investment project; the adjustment of the investment policy of the Lao Cai-Hanoi-Hai Phong railway line investment project; and the project to establish Quang Ninh city directly under the central government.

At the Meeting, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on the preparation for the First Extraordinary Session of the 16th National Assembly (Specialized Session on law-making in August 2026).
