The National Assembly Standing Committee will give its opinion (2nd time) on the preparation for the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

Information from the National Assembly Office said that tomorrow (September 12), the National Assembly Standing Committee will continue its 49th session (phase 2).

Accordingly, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give its opinion on the draft Law on Breastfeeding (amended). In this content, the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court will present the basic content of the draft. The Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic and Financial Committee briefly presented the review report, proposing issues that need to be discussed by the National Assembly.

Also at this session, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give its opinion (2nd time) on the preparation for the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly. The Secretary General of the National Assembly - Head of the National Assembly Office briefly presented the report.

At the same time, the National Assembly Standing Committee also reviewed the National Assembly's report on people's petitions in August 2025.

Previously, on September 5, the 49th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee officially opened.

At this session, the National Assembly Standing Committee gave opinions on the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Judicial Records; the draft Law on Civil Aviation of Vietnam (amended).

At the same time, give opinions on: Government reports on corruption prevention and control; crime prevention and control and law violations; enforcement in 2025; work reports on 2025 of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy; reports summarizing the term of the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuracy.
