Economic and trade cooperation has grown very positively, with bilateral trade turnover reaching about 15-16 billion USD/year in the recent period. India is currently in the top 10 largest trading partners of Vietnam. Bilateral investment continues to expand with nearly 500 projects, and there is still much room for the two countries to continue to have breakthrough cooperation steps.

In particular, Vietnam and India are strongly expanding cooperation into new fields such as science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, clean energy and satellite data. In addition, cultural exchange and people-to-people exchanges between the two countries are also developing strongly.
