General Secretary To Lam's state visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan this time and witnessing the exchange of cooperation documents shows the importance of bilateral cooperation, especially in potential areas such as education and logistics.
In the coming time, the two sides also agreed to expand cooperation not only in trade but also desire to cooperate in investment with each other; soon organize a meeting of the Intergovernmental Committees of the two countries to enhance the promotion of cooperation agreements between the two countries.
General Secretary To Lam said that the two sides have just had a very successful meeting and agreed on many strategic directions to develop bilateral relations in the coming time.
Based on the solid achievements and great potential for cooperation, the two sides agreed to sign a Joint Statement on the establishment of a Strategic Partnership, opening a new stage of development in bilateral relations.
In order to realize the contents of the joint statement, bringing bilateral relations into the new development era, the General Secretary said that the two sides agreed to 5 solutions, including increasing meetings and exchanging delegations at all levels, especially high levels on all channels of the Party, State, National Assembly and localities; Promoting the relationship between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the "New Azerbaijan" party as well as the political parties in Azerbaijan; effectively implement signed documents/agreements; Coordinate to effectively implement available cooperation mechanisms and research new cooperation mechanisms.
Promote substantive and comprehensive economic and trade cooperation through enhancing the effectiveness of the Intergovernmental Committee on economic - trade and scientific - technical cooperation, promoting trade, investment, connecting the business communities of the two countries; focusing on developing cooperation on the pillar of energy - oil and gas, researching and promoting cooperation in potential areas such as railway transport, sea, agriculture and processing and manufacturing industry...
