Vietnam - Laos share models, initiatives and practical experiences in building organizational structures, state management and developing a modern public service.

On the afternoon of July 29, at the Government Headquarters, Politburo Member, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung received Comrade Sisay Leudetmounsone, Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Organization Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee and the delegation on the occasion of visiting and working in Vietnam.

At the reception, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung congratulated Comrade Sisay Leudetmounsone on continuing to be trusted by the Lao Politburo to be assigned to hold the position of Head of the Central Organization Committee in the new term, highly appreciated the visit and working trip to Vietnam of Comrade Head of the Central Organization Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, contributing to concretizing high-level agreements between the two Parties, two States and deepening the special relationship between Vietnam and Laos.

Head of the Organization Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee Sisay Leudetmounsone expressed her pleasure to return to Vietnam for the first time in the new term; respectfully thanked Prime Minister Le Minh Hung for taking the time to receive and give the delegation sincere and brotherly feelings.

Comrade Head of the Central Organization Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party informed Prime Minister Le Minh Hung about the situation of implementing the 12th Resolution of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the results of the Lao Organization sector's work in the past time; the purpose of the delegation's visit to work with the Central Organization Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Ministry of Home Affairs of Vietnam this time, especially the results of the very practical and effective talks between the two Heads of the Central Organization Committees of the two Parties and between the Central Organization Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and the Ministry of Home Affairs of Vietnam.

Prime Minister Le Minh Hung congratulated the important achievements that the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and the Lao people have achieved, especially the successful organization of the 12th Congress of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, consolidating the leadership apparatus, implementing socio-economic development goals, maintaining political stability, gradually enhancing Laos' international position and highly appreciated the work results of the Central Organization Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party achieved in the past time.

Expressing joy and appreciation for the special solidarity relationship between Vietnam and Laos continuing to develop strongly and comprehensively in all fields in the past time; Prime Minister Le Minh Hung praised the cooperation achievements between the Lao Ministry of Interior in the past, as well as between the Organization Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee and the Vietnamese Ministry of Interior today, the two sides regularly exchange delegations, closely coordinate in building institutions, organizing apparatus, managing cadres, civil servants, public employees, administrative reform and improving state management capacity, supporting each other at ASEAN conferences and forums on cooperation in the field of public services; highly appreciated the two agencies that have newly signed the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation for the period 2026-2030, showing the proactiveness and flexibility of the two sides in adjusting and perfecting the coordination mechanism in accordance with changes in functions, tasks, and organizational apparatus of relevant agencies.

Exchanging deeply about the situation of organizing the implementation of the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress in Vietnam, especially the results of 1 year of operating the 3-level government model, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung requested the two agencies in the coming time to continue to closely coordinate, focusing on implementing a number of tasks: maintaining delegation exchange at all levels; effectively implementing the cooperation contents agreed upon in the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation that the two sides have just signed; strengthening information exchange, sharing professional experience in areas of mutual concern; sharing models, initiatives and practical experiences in building organizational structures, state management and developing modern public services; coordinating and supporting each other at regional and international forums, especially within the framework of ASEAN cooperation in the field of public services; requesting the Vietnamese Ministry of Home Affairs to continue to pay attention to and coordinate to support the Organization Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee to organize training, fostering, and training programs to improve the professional capacity of the staff of the Organization Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee.

Recognizing the direction of Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, Comrade Sisay Leudetmounsone wished senior Vietnamese leaders, especially Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, to continue to pay attention to support and direct the cooperation relationship between the Central Organization Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and corresponding Vietnamese partner agencies to achieve the highest results, especially in Party building work; cadre training; state apparatus organization; local government organization; management of cadres, civil servants, public employees; building and perfecting institutions; administrative reform; emulation and commendation; arranging and consolidating the organizational structure of the government at all levels in the direction of streamlining, operating effectively and efficiently.
