The United States will officially enter the presidential election every four years on November 5, 2024.
The race to the White House is currently in the final stages and is very fierce, as the Democratic Party's presidential candidate, Kamala Harris, and the Republican Party's candidate, Donald Trump, are chasing each other closely in terms of support.
Historically, US presidential elections have always been highly anticipated events and are considered one of the most intense and longest elections in the world.
The US presidential election process consists of two stages: the stage of electing party candidates called the primary election and the stage of officially electing the president from among the candidates called the general election.
US presidential candidates must satisfy the mandatory standards set forth by the US Constitution: be at least 35 years old, have lived in the US continuously for over 14 years, be a US citizen, and be born in the US.
According to the Constitution, all US citizens aged 18 and over have the right to vote.
