From reducing waste to promoting circular economy
This is the second consecutive year Acecook Vietnam has been recognized at the award, affirming the sustainable development orientation being implemented throughout production and business activities, with a focus on reducing waste generation from the source and improving resource efficiency.
CSA is an annual voting program organized by Nhip Cau Dau Tu Magazine, gathering an appraisal council including reputable organizations to honor pioneering businesses in sustainable development in Vietnam. In 2026, the program enters its 5th year with the theme "Profit – People – Planet", aiming to recognize businesses that create balanced values between economy, people and the environment through measurable, tangible results.
Reduce waste from the source itself
With a sustainable development orientation, where business efficiency always goes hand in hand with responsibility to the environment, Acecook Vietnam not only treats generated waste, but also simultaneously reduces waste right from the initial production and operation stages. This is also the foundation to help businesses cut 22% of the total amount of solid waste generated in 2025, equivalent to about 3,530 tons compared to 2024.

This result comes from many innovative initiatives being implemented synchronously at factories nationwide. Typically, optimizing the microbial treatment process helps significantly reduce the amount of sludge from the wastewater treatment system. Thoroughly recovering the amount of fine rice flour generated from the rice washing process in the vermicelli and pho production line, while strictly controlling the loading process to improve the burning efficiency of the boiler and reduce the amount of ash and slag generated.
These improvements not only help reduce the amount of waste to be treated but also contribute to improving the efficiency of raw material use and optimizing production operation.
Promoting the circular economy from packaging to recycling
In parallel with waste reduction activities in production, Acecook Vietnam continues to promote the green packaging roadmap. Since 2022, the enterprise has gradually replaced plastic materials with paper materials for instant noodle and instant noodle product lines. As of the end of 2025, the conversion rate has exceeded 90%, contributing to cutting more than 6,830 tons of plastic used into the natural environment.
In addition, businesses actively cooperate with specialized partners in the field of packaging collection and recycling to extend the life cycle of materials according to the circular economy orientation. In 2025 alone, Acecook Vietnam signed actual recycling contracts with more than 1500 tons of plastic and 8000 tons of paper of all kinds, contributing to reducing pressure on natural resources and limiting the amount of waste to be treated.
In internal operations, the company continues to maintain a reusable rate of about 90% of plastic pallet and basket systems. For materials that no longer meet usage standards, the company will transfer them to recycling units for recovery and recycling of materials for other purposes, contributing to promoting the circular economy model and efficient use of resources.
Sustainable development from small actions
In addition to large-scale initiatives in production activities, Acecook Vietnam also constantly spreads the spirit of green living to its own employees through many practical activities in the daily working environment.
Programs such as equipping waste bins for source sorting or "No Recycling Plastic Day" implemented periodically every month have contributed to raising awareness and gradually forming a responsible living habit for the environment for all officials and employees.
At the same time, Acecook Vietnam promotes the practice of the 4R (Refuse – Reduce – Reuse – Recycle) principle at factories and offices; promotes the digitization of working processes, encourages the use of electronic documents, digital signatures and limits unnecessary printing to minimize resource consumption.
From properly sorting waste, limiting the use of disposable plastic to changing work habits towards digitization, every small action contributes to positive changes. Not only helping to reduce environmental impact, these efforts also step by step build a sustainable development culture and raise the sense of responsibility of each employee towards the community and future generations.
Faced with the ESG trend, the circular economy and emission reduction are increasingly focused on, Acecook Vietnam sees sustainable development as the foundation for long-term growth. The enterprise implements the ESG strategy through 6 pillars, from sustainable products to responsible governance. Continuing to be included in the Top 50 Typical Sustainable Development Enterprises of Vietnam 2026 is a recognition of Acecook's efforts on the journey towards a green and sustainable future.
