BIDV and WMI cooperate to develop a team of Private Bankers with international standards

BIDV strategically cooperates with the Vietnam Institute of Asset Management (WMI) Singapore to develop a team of professional Private Banker consultants in Vietnam.

As a domestic bank honored by The Asian Banker with the best Private Banking service for 03 consecutive years, BIDV identifies this strategic cooperation as an important step in the journey to establish international standards for Private Banking services in Vietnam. Accordingly, BIDV became the first commercial bank in Vietnam and is also one of the pioneers in Asia to sign a strategic cooperation agreement with WMI to grant BIDV & WMI co-branded certificates to BIDV students.

This event demonstrates BIDV's commitment to improving service quality according to international Private Banking standards. The training program jointly developed by WMI and BIDV is designed based on Singapore's Private Banker capacity framework, thereby helping BIDV staff achieve international professional certificates, ensuring that they meet strict standards globally. This is an important step in BIDV's Private Banking service development strategy, aiming to become the leading financial institution in Asia by 2030.

BIDV and WMI said that the courses will be held in 2025, with methodical and practical design content, helping the BIDV Private Banker team apply it to the work of caring for, consulting and managing assets, thereby contributing to giving customers in Vietnam the opportunity to experience asset management services according to world practices.
