The program effectively supports cash flow and simple procedures, with attractive interest rates from only 4.5%/year, suitable for the needs of revolving capital, expanding production and maintaining business activities.
The domestic market is witnessing a strong return of production and business activities after a period of stagnation. Small-scale industries such as livestock, farming, grocery trading, food and beverage services or intra-regional transportation all showed signs of positive recovery. However, according to many market research, the biggest challenge for households and individual business households today is not the idea or labor resources but the ability to access cheap, flexible capital sources and convenient procedures.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Tam, owner of an organic vegetable growing facility in Hoa Binh, introduced her solid and modern greenhouse: "Previously, every time seedlings grew, there were pests and diseases, especially during the harvest season, the fruit garden was devastated and in disrepair." Because she is just a small business household, Ms. Tam is facing difficulties in accessing capital to invest in facilities. The problem was only solved when Agribank stepped in to support.
In many rural and suburban areas or even central areas, many individuals like Ms. Tam still have difficulty accessing legitimate credit sources due to limited collateral or complicated procedures. Having a loan program with preferential interest rates, short terms, and quick disbursement can become the key to opening up business opportunities, reinvesting and overcoming temporary difficult periods.
To promptly support individual customers such as Ms. Tam to access preferential capital to serve production and business activities, Agribank has implemented a preferential short-term lending program to serve individual customer production and business activities in 2024. Thanks to that, not long after, two large greenhouses to shelter the unfertilized melon and eggplant beds and fruit trees of Mrs. Tam were built from the amount of 2 billion that she borrowed from Agribank.
Following the successful credit program in 2024 and to confirm Agribank's commitment to accompany the restoration and development of household economy, rural economy and urban small traders, Agribank continues to implement a new preferential credit program for individual customers. The credit program with a total limit of up to VND 50,000 billion is applied from April 2, 2025 to June 30, 2025 or until the disbursement of the program scale. The program applies preferential interest rates from 4.5%/year to bring practical benefits to customers in the context of capital costs increasingly becoming an important factor affecting business efficiency. In addition, Agribank also offers many flexible loans suitable for actual needs such as borrowing, loans, or expenditures on payment accounts. The review and disbursement will comply with the current regulations of Agribank and the specific conditions of the program.
The notable point of this credit program is not only the competitive interest rate but also the flexibility and realistic design of the product. Agribank has cleverly balanced between strict regulations on Bank credit and practical requirements from borrowers.
The story of Mr. Dao Duy Khanh, owner of Hung Luyen garment factory in Thanh Tri, Hanoi, further proves the effectiveness of capital for individual customers at this time. Mr. Khanh has encountered many difficulties in his business activities due to a shortage of capital. After that, thanks to a loan from Agribank, he has now developed two garment workshops with an area of over 300m2, next to a main store in the town center.

I always appreciate Agribank's support throughout the startup and development process. From initial loan procedures, the way credit officers guide documents to quick disbursement, everything is very clear and reputable. With this promotion program, I am planning to borrow more to invest in machinery and expand the export market for processed goods".
Stories like Ms. Tam and Mr. Khanh's not only reflect the trust of customers, but are also a vivid testament to Agribank's long-term role as a companion in the journey of developing individual production and business in Vietnam.
In particular, in the current context, when the financial market is constantly fluctuating, interest rates tend to fluctuate strongly, committing to specific preferential interest rates within a limited period of time is a "golden" opportunity for people to take advantage of loans, reinvest in production and stabilize their lives. By proactively adjusting credit policies, improving service quality and expanding forms of loans to suit actual needs, Agribank has, is and will continue to affirm its role as a "trusted companion" of millions of business households and small-scale production households across the country.
