Putting stable power supply first
On the occasion of National Day September 2, 2026, Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) proactively deploys plans to operate power sources and grids, strengthen inspection and arrange on-duty forces, ensuring safe and stable power supply to serve political and cultural activities and people's living needs.
Accordingly, Power Companies proactively develop operating plans for power sources and grids to ensure safety and reliability in normal conditions and be ready to switch flexibly when incidents occur. Units prioritize power supply for locations where political and cultural activities of localities take place on the occasion of National Day.
EVNCPC requests units not to perform tasks that must stop or reduce power supply causing power outages to customers during the holidays, from 0:00 on August 29 to 24:00 on September 2, 2026, except for incident handling.
Power Companies also reconstitute shifts at 110kV substations to ensure safe power supply for important areas; arrange full on-duty forces, supplies, spare equipment, means of transportation and communication systems, ready to quickly handle arising situations.
Mr. Tran Van Gia - Deputy General Director of EVNCPC said that the Corporation requires units to be proactive from the stage of preparing plans, inspecting the power grid to arranging forces, materials, and vehicles, ready to handle arising situations.
Units must put the requirement of safety, continuity and stability of power supply first; carefully review the power grid, important loads, and prepare sufficient forces, materials and means to handle unusual situations as quickly as possible.
In particular, units proactively coordinate with local authorities to grasp the locations and times of event organization, thereby ensuring safe and reliable power supply for activities during the holidays," Mr. Tran Van Gia emphasized.
Strengthen inspection of power source and grid equipment
To prevent incidents, Power Companies strengthen the inspection of power sources and grid equipment, promptly detect and handle defects; promote the clearing of the route corridor, preventing the risk of incidents due to violations of the power grid safety corridor.
Units coordinate with local authorities, police, and military forces to review and deploy plans to protect security, safety, and fire and explosion prevention at power projects and power grid operating locations.
At the same time, grasp the time and location of events during the National Day holiday, thereby developing appropriate power supply plans, ensuring good business and customer service during the holiday activities.
In operational work, units review large loads, specialized loads, and forecast electricity demand during holidays to proactively calculate operating methods, ensuring safe and stable power grid operation.
Power Companies strengthen the monitoring of the load capacity of power lines and transformers, and promptly handle cases of full load and overload. For 110kV power lines with a load capacity of 90% or more, distribution dispatchers immediately report to regional dispatchers for coordination and handling according to regulations.
In addition to the operation of the power grid, the Central Power Information Technology Company ensures that the transmission line and information system operate stably and continuously, serving the operation of the power system and the direction and administration of EVNCPC leaders.
The Central Power Customer Care Center arranges reasonable switchboard duty forces, promptly receiving and processing information related to power supply, ensuring smooth customer service during the holidays.
