New model adds convenience for customers to experience banking services
Understanding the needs of customers in accessing convenient banking services, MB and F88 have officially signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement at MB's headquarters - 18 Le Van Luong, Hanoi.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, MB representative stated that the cooperation between MB and F88 aims at the common goal of providing comprehensive financial solutions to customers. “Through more than 850 F88 transaction points and more than 300 MB branches and transaction offices, MB wishes to reach more customers in all regions of the country, especially in areas that are not yet convenient for accessing financial services” - Mr. Vu Thanh Trung, Vice Chairman of Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank shared.
“The advantage we bring to MB is not only the scale of our nationwide network, but also our experience and understanding in the financial sector, helping MB provide services to customers effectively and professionally,” said Mr. Phung Anh Tuan, Chairman and General Director of F88.
This cooperation is the foundation for MB and F88 to provide customers with comprehensive and convenient financial solutions, starting with supporting customers to update their identification documents on the MBBank App at more than 850+ F88 transaction points, ensuring smooth transactions. According to the regulations in the new circulars issued by the State Bank, from January 1, 2025, if the identification (biometric update) is not performed, customers will not be able to make online transactions.
Previously, in the period from 2014 to 2023, with the permission of the State Bank, MB and Viettel cooperated to deploy a pilot payment service model such as BankPlus service - home money transfer to serve customers in areas where banks are not convenient in accessing and providing services. After Circular No. 07/2024/TT-NHNN officially took effect, MB requested to add the content of "payment agent" to MB's operating license.
Expanding ID update support points with F88's system of 850+ transaction points
MB customers can now update their ID easily and safely across the F88 system of more than 850 transaction points. It is known that MB has organized in-depth training, guiding F88 staff to support super-fast ID updates on the MBBank App.

Customers visiting F88 transaction points will be supported by staff to perform NFC scanning and update their identification documents safely and quickly right on the MBBank App, even if their phones do not support NFC scanning at home. In addition, F88 has a nationwide network, convenient for customers to receive support, helping to reduce waiting time at the bank. This is especially meaningful for customers who live and work in places where there are no or are too far from the bank's branches and transaction offices. At the same time, supporting customers to update biometrics through the F88 network has contributed to strengthening MB's position in the top banks with the most biometric data update support methods on the market. In addition to direct support at MB branches/transaction offices and F88 transaction points, MB also supports customers to update their ID in just one minute on the MBBank App via VNeID, self-scan NFC or ask for biometrics with the biometric feature available right in the app. In addition, F88 is also a reputable and safe place to introduce customers to open MB accounts.
