Decoding the 3 pillars that help TPBank continuously stand firm in the Top 10 prestigious private banks

TPBank continues to be honored in the Top 10 Most Reputable Private Joint Stock Commercial Banks in Vietnam announced by Vietnam Report.

The announcement ceremony of the Top 10 Reputable Banking Industry Companies Ranking 2026 organized by Vietnam Report Joint Stock Company (Vietnam Report) and VietNamNet Newspaper officially took place yesterday afternoon in Hanoi.

Overcoming the system of independent and strict evaluation criteria, TPBank was once again named in 8th position in the Top 10 prestigious private joint-stock commercial banks.

In the context that the financial industry continuously faces many unpredictable variables from the macroeconomy, maintaining a persistent presence in this prestigious ranking is not just a title, but also a true measure reflecting TPBank's comprehensive adaptability in all aspects of operation.

Synchronously meeting 3 criteria from Vietnam Report

Vietnam Report's ranking is one of the independent and comprehensive measures, built on scientific principles with 3 core criteria pillars: (1) Financial capacity; (2) Media Coding reputation; and (3) Satisfaction survey results of stakeholders. TPBank's ranking reflects efforts to implement synchronously in all three aspects.

First of all, in terms of financial capacity, the priority orientation of safety and growth quality has helped TPBank score high points. As of the end of June 2026, outstanding credit balance increased by 9.62% while the bad debt ratio (NPL) was tightly controlled below 1.5%.

At the same time, TPBank firmly consolidates its capital buffer with a plan to increase charter capital to more than 32,000 billion VND and strictly comply with Basel III standards, maximizing its resilience to market risks.

In parallel, thanks to the application of AI and digital ecosystems, TPBank optimized costs, attracted good cheap capital (CASA) to protect net interest margin (NIM) and diversify revenue sources. The synergy between a safe risk platform and efficient operation brought in more than VND 4,668 billion in semi-annual profit. This result creates a solid momentum to help the bank break through towards the target of VND 10,300 billion in profit and VND 600,000 billion in total assets this year.

The second factor that makes TPBank's solid position is its media reputation (Media Coding) with a strong unique and consistent mark. Excellently meeting Vietnam Report's evaluation criteria for coverage and level of influence, TPBank makes a difference by skillfully combining the standard image of a financial institution with the youthful and dynamic style of a digital bank.

Instead of rigid communication campaigns, TPBank chooses to associate the brand with lifestyle. The companionship with the "Tinh Ha Say Hi" program is a clear proof. TPBank understands that the modern young generation not only chooses services for simple financial benefits, but also for the harmony of value systems and the feeling of being understood.

Thanks to being a pioneer in innovation from products to connection methods, the bank has approached target customers naturally. This strategy helps TPBank significantly increase the rate of positive discussions, maintain a different brand image and be close to the public.

The final piece that completes TPBank's prestigious picture is the effort to optimize experience to build trust, which is clearly shown through the survey criteria of stakeholders. This criterion of Vietnam Report is drawn from independent assessments of financial experts and real customers.

On the expert side, TPBank is positively recognized thanks to its clear digital transformation strategy, transparency in information disclosure and management and operation capacity. On the customer side, satisfaction scores are enhanced through continuous efforts in shortening transaction times, personalizing financial products and building a seamless and convenient digital ecosystem.

Taking customers as the focus is not only a direction but has been quantified by TPBank with international standards. TPBank becoming the first bank in Vietnam to be granted the ICXS2024 certificate by the British Standards Institute (BSI) (updated from IXCS2019), and also achieving the highest ranking, is a solid guarantee. This certificate shows that the bank's processes and service touch points have been truly standardized, contributing to explaining why TPBank always receives high credit in VNR's independent surveys.

Position of steadfastness

Sharing about the achieved results, Mr. Nguyen Viet Anh - Deputy General Director of TPBank said that being recognized by the market and independent assessment organizations for many consecutive years is a great motivation for TPBank. In the current period, we understand that the reputation of a bank is measured by transparency, risk management capacity and commitment to bring real value to the community.

TPBank will continue to be steadfast in its goal of sustainable growth, taking asset quality as the foundation and taking customer satisfaction as the highest measure. We are committed to constantly improving the service ecosystem to effectively accompany the development of all partners and customers," Mr. Nguyen Viet Anh emphasized.
