Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank (HDBank) and the Center for Research and Application of Population Data and Citizen Identification (RAR Center) - Ministry of Public Security have signed a strategic cooperation agreement, officially integrating VNeID national electronic identification into the HDBank application, helping customers open online accounts faster, safer and completely without paperwork.
The cooperation allows HDBank to apply advanced identification and authentication solutions of the RAR Center, simplify the process, enhance security and fully meet biometric regulations according to Circulars 15, 17, 18 and 50 of the State Bank.
HDBank has completed technical connection and successfully tested the VNeID electronic authentication system - Ministry of Public Security. This is an important step forward in the bank's digitalization strategy, affirming its commitment to innovation for customers and accompanying the Government in promoting national digital finance.
Previously, HDBank also coordinated with the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order - deploying Smart Medical Kiosks at hospitals, supporting medical examination and treatment registration and hospital fees payment using chip-embedded CCCD/VNeID. 200 kiosks have been put into operation at 140 hospitals, serving millions of people.
These partnerships continue to affirm HDBank as a pioneer bank in digital transformation, bringing modern and humane technology solutions closer to the community.
