On the morning of December 1, continuing the 10th Session, the National Assembly voted to amend and supplement the 10th Session agenda.
Speaking at the meeting, Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man stated that as of today, the session has 9 working days left to decide on legislative work and important issues of the country.
This session has contents from competent authorities directing the Government to submit to the National Assembly for discussion and decision to remove difficulties for the country to develop in the new period, with GDP growth rate reaching over 8% and in the following years achieving double-digit growth to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Party's founding...
The National Assembly Chairman requested National Assembly deputies to share and concentrate most closely in this session. The key task is to pass laws and resolutions.
Next, National Assembly Standing Committee member, Secretary General of the National Assembly, Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Manh presented a report on amending and supplementing the program of the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
Accordingly, 7 contents were added to the 10th Session agenda for submission to the National Assembly for consideration and approval, including:
Firstly, the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on mechanisms and policies for national energy development for the period 2026-2030.
Second, the draft Resolution of the National Assembly amends and supplements a number of articles of Resolution No. 98/2023/QH15 on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Ho Chi Minh City.
Third, the draft Resolution of the National Assembly amends and supplements a number of articles of Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15 on the organization of urban government and pilots a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Da Nang City.
Fourth, the investment policy for the Vinh - Thanh Thuy expressway construction investment project.
Fifth, on supplementing the second state budget (not refunded to foreign countries) in 2025;
Sixth, on adjusting the content of Resolution No. 94/2015/QH13 of the National Assembly on the investment policy for Long Thanh International Airport.
Seventh, amending and supplementing Resolution No. 170/2024/QH15 dated November 30, 2024 of the National Assembly on specific mechanisms and policies to remove difficulties and obstacles for projects and land in the conclusions of inspections, examinations and judgments in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang City and Khanh Hoa Province.
Arrange a specific time in the program for the National Assembly to consider and approve the project of the Law on specialized Courts at the International Financial Center.
At the same time, it will consider adding a number of contents, including specific mechanisms and policies to implement major projects of the capital Hanoi. The implementation time will be adjusted appropriately so as not to change the total working time of the session.
With 394/399 delegates participating in the vote, the National Assembly approved the amendment and supplementation of the 10th Session agenda.
