HDBank signed a memorandum of understanding with terraPay, marking a step forward in expanding the international hoiity and financial services market share.

According to the agreement, Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank (HDBank) will deploy a bribe payment service in Vietnam through TerraPay - a leading international payment service company headquartered in London (UK), including counter payment, bank transfer and home payment. At the same time, international money transfer services from Vietnam to other countries will be implemented according to a real-time processing mechanism (real-time) with competitive fees. Key markets of the initial cooperation include Japan, South Korea, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Australia, India, Europe and the US.

A representative of HDBank said: "The cooperation marks an important step forward in HDBank's strategy of expanding its international hoi mark and financial services, bringing a quick, safe, competitive money transfer solution to serve the increasingly diverse hoi needs of individual and overseas Vietnamese customers around the world."

Terrapay - The leading global payment service provider, headquartered in London (Vuong Quoc Anh). TerraPay simplifies money transfers everywhere by providing a single connection to the largest cross-border payment network managed in more than 30 markets around the world, supporting payments to more than 140 countries receiving money, more than 210 countries depositing money, more than 7.5 billion bank accounts and more than 2.4 billion mobile e-wallets.

The TerraPay representative also said that terraPay is delighted to cooperate with HDBank to expand more convenient financial experiences for customers.

Always leading the trend of international financial services, in 2022, HDBank is one of the pioneering banks in Vietnam to successfully deploy SWIFT Go products - a service of SWIFT (World Banking Telecommunications Association). SWIFT Go allows financial institutions to provide payment experiences for low-value transactions (under 10,000 USD) paid by small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to foreign suppliers and individuals to send money to families abroad.

Investing in technology infrastructure, the bank is also developing many services to meet the increasingly diverse needs of domestic and foreign customers in import-export activities, such as eLC, e TT... In addition, HDBank also develops widespread international payment activities with hundreds of agents being financial institutions and many domestic and international partners.

The cooperation with TerraPay once again affirms HDBank's position in the field of international financial services. With a modern technology platform and the ability to deploy diverse cross-border payment solutions, HDBank not only fully meets the increasingly high demand for international money transfers of individual customers and businesses, but also contributes to raising the position of Vietnamese banks on the world financial map, promoting sustainable growth and deeply integrating into the global hoi flows.
