This year's tournament recorded a record of more than 12,000 athletes registering, surpassing all milestones from previous seasons, including 4,000 locals, and was also the first time a tournament in the system with 4,000 participants participated in 5km - a distance for beginners to run.
In the coastal city of Quy Nhon, this year's tournament not only attracted domestic professional and semi-professional athletes, but also had the participation of many international athletes. The competition distances include 5km, 10km, half marathon (21km) and full marathon (42km), suitable for all levels. Notably, many independent members and Herbalife staff also actively participated in the competition.
With a high temperature, about 28 degrees Celsius, humidity of 80%, athletes still gave their all and made many impressions at the race. The most impressive image is Victor Chepkwony, a Kenyan, who won a race in Vietnam for the first time after two missed appointments.
In the women's event, Pham Thi Hong Le finished first after 2 hours 56 minutes 47 seconds, this result helped the runner from Binh Dinh win the system championships for the 15th time.
The 21km distance witnessed Tran Duyen's first coronation. After more than 10 missed tournaments, the runner born in 2002 was able to smile victoriously. VnExpress Marathon Quy Nhon 2025 recorded a total prize value of up to hundreds of millions of VND. The awards were given to 5 male and 5 female athletes with the best results, including cash and in-kind prizes.

This year's running route continues to exploit the typical beauty of the South Central Coast region, passing through Thi Nai Bridge - the longest bridge over the sea in Vietnam, Thi Nai lagoon, Phuong Mai sand hills and wind power fields, bringing a unique experience to participants.
In addition, athletes will experience standard running routes, certified by the Vietnam Athletics Federation and ensured the criteria of the World Athletics Federation.
