In operation since November 1, 2023, Galaxy Innovation Hub has quickly become a cooperation destination for many multinational technology corporations such as Nidec and Nipro (Japan), Samsung (Korea), Intel, Facebook and Google (USA)..., along with technology projects and startups of many domestic enterprises. This is also the place chosen by the World Economic Forum (WEF) to organize the Workshop "Center for the 4.0 Industrial Revolution in Ho Chi Minh City (C4IR) - New driving force for sustainable development".
At the conference, HDBank leaders shared the key points in the development strategy and the future of digital banking. Investors had direct access to technology solutions such as eKYC application, process automation solutions, AI virtual assistants, etc. to help increase management efficiency and enhance customer experience at HDBank.
The effectiveness of the digitalization strategy is also an important driving force for HDBank to quickly achieve a rate of over 97% of individual customer transactions conducted on digital platforms. In the first 9 months of 2024, HDBank attracted a higher number of new customers than in the whole of 2023, of which 85% of new customers were through digital channels.

Expected to exceed profit plan, creating high growth momentum for the next phase
At the conference, HDBank representatives shared high growth business results in the first 9 months of 2024, with pre-tax profit of VND 12,655 billion, up 46.6% over the same period; total assets reached VND 629,000 billion, up 23.9%; bad debt ratio (according to SBV regulations) was controlled at a low level of 1.46%, much lower than the industry average. ROE ratio reached 26.7%, ROA reached 2.2% in the leading group of the industry.
Sharing the outlook for the business results for the whole year of 2024, Mr. Pham Van Dau - HDBank's Chief Financial Officer said that the Bank believes that it will exceed the profit target of 15,852 billion assigned by shareholders and is expected to reach over 16,000 billion VND. The results of 2024 will also create favorable momentum for high growth targets next year, when HDBank possesses strong financial potential, capital safety according to Basel II standards reaching 14.8%, high in the leading group of the whole industry; high liquidity safety indicators.
Regarding the business plan for next year, marking the 35-year journey of sustainable development, Mr. Tran Hoai Nam - Deputy General Director shared that HDBank will continue to implement the multi-functional retail banking strategy, promote digital business, promote advantages from the potential customer ecosystem in large value chains, comprehensively integrate Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) factors into operations for high and sustainable growth. HDBank expects the growth targets for next year to reach 25%, with pre-tax profit reaching about VND 20 trillion, an increase of 25% compared to 2024. At the same time, the bank will continue the tradition of paying high and regular dividends as planned by the General Meeting of Shareholders.
